Neuro Linguistic Programming Patterns

In many cases of where neuro linguistic programming is taught, most focus on teaching the techniques. For instance, you might learn the technique of curing phobias, building confidence and enhancing good feelings. I’d like you to consider that NLP is not just about those techniques. Patterns and formats (the step-by-step process of using a technique) do not necessarily add value to you. You might learn a technique only to realize that it falls flat on its face when you can’t apply it to certain people. It happened when I was testing this out while I was still in the university.

someone asked me about «submodalities» and I thought it would be a good way to test submodalities out on this person. It so happened that the way I used it was a technique I had picked up in NLP 101, and it had no effect on that person whatsoever. I had attempted to use a technique called the «Swish Pattern», which was devised by Richard Bandler several years ago, but it didn’t ‘work’. Or shall I say «I» didn’t work. You see, I had the mindset that I could treat anything using submodality patterns. However, I realized later that these are not tailored to suit the client. I did not explore what was going on inside the mind of the client first, and jumped to the conclusion that the swish technique could work on him. This is a common problem with beginners in NLP. The techniques taught are taken to be the gospel truth, but they are not used properly with effective meta modeling and exploration. If you want to develop mastery in NLP, you must learn how to apply the principles of NLP at the foundation level, and develop this foundation well. Once you have this, you can proceed to devise ANY technique you want, and it will work. Getting Started with Internet Marketing Research using Niche Browser

The best thing about Niche Browser (despite it’s being free) is that it provides such a rich array of features for you to use in your online marketing research. Anybody that is starting out or continuing to build their home business will benefit from owning and using Niche Browser. One disadvantage you will find about Niche Browser, however, is that there are so many features that it can be a bit overwhelming.

That is why I am writing this article. I want to help you get started using and mastering Niche Browser in order to take advantage of all the great resources that it provides for you. So let’s take a tour of the overall interface. Niche Browser can be divided into three basic elements: 1. Browser Window 2. Search Tools Side Panel 3. URL Toolbar1) Browser WindowThe Browser Window is quite simple to understand: It is an instance of Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you right-click a blank area of the window, you will see the familiar context menu, in which you will find, for example, the «View Source» item which will allow you to view the html code for the current page. Just above the Browser Window, you will see the browser toolbar. On the left are the familiar back, forward, stop, and refresh buttons. The right side has the go, history, favorites, add to favorites, and print the current page buttons. In the center is the URL address bar. To the left of the address bar is a special button that opens the browser in a separate window on your desktop. Just above the URL address bar, you will notice a small button. This is the URL Address Lock, or Pin URL button. It enables you to browser other websites while keeping the current URL from changing. This is especially handy when you want to use the URL tools toolbar which I will explain a little bit later. Also, to the left, just above the «Back» button, there is the Expand Browser Window button. This allows you to enlarge the browser viewing area.2) Search Tools Side PanelThe Search Tools Side Panel provides special features for each Search Tool that you select. The content and functionality of each Side Panel will change depending on the requirements of the associated Search Tool you happen to be using at the time. In order to understand the side panels, you have to first understand how to activate a search tool. The search tools are listed as subsets of the Search Categories.

The Search Categories are the first row of buttons that you see just under the «Related Searches» tool bar. We will be discussing these later on as well. So, for each item you select in the Search Categories row, you will see a different set of buttons appear in the row below it which provides the Search Tools for that category. The simplest way to begin exploring the side panel is to look at three different versions of Google search tools: Google Basic search, also known as the Generalized Keyword Search, Google Suggest search, and Google Advanced search. You’ll notice that the contents of the side panel are different for each.3) URL ToolbarThe Toolbars of the Niche Browser Interface provide a wide variety of features that will assist you in your niche marketing research. When you use the URL Toolbar, be sure to enable the URL Address Lock, or Pin URL button. This will allow you to select each of the tools without having to restore the Site Address each time. The URL Tool Bar provides the following resources: a) Alexa Ranking b) Related Sites c) Indexed Pages d) URL Trends e) Text Analyzer f) Site Images g) Site Audio h) Site Video i) Site PDF’s j) Site Flash Movies k) Wayback Machine l) Inbound Links m) Whois Information n) URL Slide Show o) Site Search As you can see, there is an incredible amount of information you can gather about any particular site using Niche Browser’s URL Tool Bar.a) Alexa RankingFor those of you who are not familiar with Alex Ranking, you will be amazed at all the information it can provide you about your competition’s website. Let me give a brief overview. To start with, Alexa only ranks pages for sites that contain the Alexa Toolbar, so this is not a complete sampling of all sites on the Web. However, if your site of interest is listed, you will find it useful.

The first piece of data is the ranking.

This tells you how popular the site is compared to all other sites being ranked by Alexa.

The next notable feature is the Explore This Site categories. These are, Overview, Traffic Details, Related Links, and Inbound Links, or Sites Linking In. In the Overview Section, you will find the following: – People who visit this page also visit… – Site Stats Traffic Rank Speed Other sites that link to this site Online Since Look for similar sites by categoryd) URL TrendsURL Trends provides a great deal of information in one location. It will provide the following information about a website’s pages: Current Rankings Google Page Rank Alexa Rank Incoming Google Links Incoming Yahoo Links Incoming MSN Links Incoming Alexa Links Overall Incoming Links Outgoing Links Page Information Page Title Description Online Since DMOZ Listed Archive.org Listed (Wayback machine) UrlTrends Cachem) Whois InformationIf you ever need to find out about a website domain, this is the place to do it. Using the Whois information tool, you can find out when a site was first registered, when the domain name will expire, what type of server it is running on, whom to contact for information, whether the site has been blacklisted, and related site domains that may be available for sale or at auction.o) Site SearchIf you come across a website in which you would like to search but they don’t provide a search box on the site, you can use this tool that Niche Browser provides.

Just navigate to the page, enter the text you want to search, and press the search button. The tools and features in Niche Browser are seemingly endless, and the value to you certainly is. So be sure and download it now if you haven’t already. In other articles, I will be discussing some of the tools in more details, so be sure and watch for those as well.

Will FFAs get me banned from Google?

The webmaster’s nightmare.

«Oh my god, my listing is gone from google!!!» or yahoo, or msn or any of the big search engines. We all know that traffic is the life blood of any online endeavor. Without traffic you can’t make sales. Search engine traffic is the most reliable source of high quality traffic. High quality being visitors who are looking specifically for the products or services you sell. FFAs or Free For All links pages are considered low quality traffic sources. IE people randomly surfing, clicking on whatever looks interesting. Not really searching for anything and very unlikely to buy anything. There is however another role that FFAs play. Bulk submition to FFAs or blasting FFAs creates hundreds of links to your web site. The number of links to your site is part of how google and other search engines rank your site. The more links the higher your ranking. Now here is the problem. Traditional wisdom among webmasters, internet marketers and internet gurus is that too many FFA links. Considered low quality links, will get you banned from search engines. In other words, the belief is that if google thinks you are trying to boost your rankings by adding a lot of low quality links they will ban you. So will they? My only answer has to be, «not in my experience.» Here is a little history of my internet marketing journy. For the longest time I was wasting money on this traffic generating ebook and that traffic generating system. I was getting a pitance of search engine traffic and no google traffic. So I decided «So what if I get banned.». I wasn’t getting google traffic anyway, how would being banned hurt me? I started FFA blasting 3 or more times a week and guess what. Google traffic. Not huge amounts by any means, but google traffic none the less. Not only google iether. Ask.com, yahoo and many others. Even a fair amount of FFA page traffic. So what am I saying here? It’s simple. No one knows how google or yahoo or ask.com ranks web site except google, yahoo or ask.com. The search engines, like any good business, are constantly tweaking and changing their ranking rules.

These rules are secret. Any internet marketing guru who claims to have «broken the google code» is either lieing out right or working off old information. Don’t believe them. In my experience making your internet foot print as large as possible is the best traffic generating strategy. Submitting to FFAs is the quickest easiest way to do this. If you are already making a good living with free google traffic, great don’t change a thing. In fact write an article so I can learn your secrets. If you are yet to get your first google hit, start submitting to FFAs. In my experience only good things will come of it. Good luck in your web marketing.

Free – Automatic Link Exchange

Free automatic link exchange is the method of links being instantaneously swapped with other Internet websites. There are assorted ways of arranging a free automatic link exchange with webmasters. The quickest and most effective way to trade links with other website owners is to enroll in a free automatic link exchange. Many computer users visit webmaster forums which offer specific info where different webmasters can actually request an instantaneous link exchange, whether it’s a particular category or even open to the public. The control panel edits and deletes the links automatically. Automatic link exchange detects the various links that do not respond and you can immediately notify the website owners or simply delete the links with one click. Free link exchange directories are used frequently by several webmasters to attempt and build up their link popularity generally by searching for other proficient webmasters listed in the directory who are looking for link trades. The majority of these automatic link exchange directories charge a nominal fee for the access to the webmaster directory or even the database. However, you can find many free link exchange directories on the Internet. Often at times extremely useful, the free link exchange is viable. However, it’s wise to be cautious with who you trade the links. Getting in the habit of trading with the wrong site can have a horrific impact on your own Internet website. The safest bet is to maintain a specific and secured linking method where you neither accept links from certain non-related websites nor even post links to these non-related websites. Discovering websites via the automatic link exchange that resemble your own website may be quite difficult. However, it’s important to note that the end result is usually best when simply linking to a multitude of websites that aren’t in your particular industry what-soever. In other words, with the automatic link exchange, it’s much more achievable to find ten links from websites that are similar to yours, than finding plenty of links from websites that are foreign to your demographics, interests and target market.

There are a lot of considerations with the automatic link exchange.

It’s very important to note that search engines look at the Internet websites that links to you and alludes to a particular theme for your own website. This is based on your own Internet website content as well as an assortment of content from the websites linking to you. Various undiscovered and secret methods that the search engines use that are improbable to understand completely may not actually help with your specific cause in the link exchange. Therefore, it’s not necessary to learn them.

7 Ways To Ensure Your Article Never Gets Used By Other Webmasters

Richard Adams It’s a well-known fact that distributing articles through the various article directory sites can result in a considerable number of new visitors to your website as other webmasters lap up your content and add it to their sites, each one linking to yours.

However as word of the success of this method spreads, competition increases and so it is becoming ever harder to get your articles published on other sites.

Even more so popular, high-traffic sites that can really make your hit counter spin when they use your article. To be successful at this technique you need to know the rules and when selecting articles myself for use on my sites I never cease to be amazed at the number of articles that «break the rules». Here, therefore, are the 7 most common mistakes I see other writers making, that will seriously reduce the number of people who choose to use your articles on their sites. Avoid these and you’ll see your results soar. 1) Badly Chosen Title There are two problems here. They are boring or unoriginal titles. If you’re writing an article about viral marketing, don’t just call it «Viral Marketing». Look to make the title original, unique and shouting about either a benefit to the reader or answering a question. Call it «17 Ways To Increase Your Sales In The Next 24 Hours Using Viral Marketing» or suchlike. Now that sounds interesting. Also, try to avoid using any «strange» characters in your title. Hyphens are okay, but speech marks, quotation marks, colons and semicolons should be avoided. Why? Many webmasters use automated software to find articles and add them to their sites. This software often takes the title of the article and saves it as an HTML file with the article title as the filename.

Except of course filenames can’t have the above characters in them, so the webmaster will either have to manually change the title, or more likely, simply ditch your article. In the same way, calling your article something common like «Viral Marketing» will likely mean the software will have several files with the same name. And so yours might just get written over. 2) Poor Formatting Experienced writers and webmasters on the net talk about «white space». That is – the amount of white space around text on a page which, if large enough, makes the text look approachable and interesting. Sentences and paragraphs should be short, as in this article, with spaces between paragraphs. It simply makes the text look easy to read, so increases the number of people who bother. Don’t write your whole article in one huge paragraph as it looks aweful, and very few people will bother reading it. Also, and I don’t know why some people do this, but don’t «indent» the beginning of each sentence. It just looks strange when it comes to adding it to a website. Consider also line length. Some article directories want hard carriage returns after 70 or 80 characters. If that’s what they want – give it to them! 3) Glorified Sales Letter It seems that the main aim for some authors is simply self-promotion. But that doesn’t cut the mustard. Don’t link to your website in the text of the article suggesting people visit, try not to include any affiliate links (and cloak them well if you do use them) and don’t talk about how great you are. An article’s aim is to provide content, your resource box is for trying to gain visitors. 4) Overly Long Bio File Webmasters love publishing other people’s content as it attracts more search engine visitors but they hate having to link to your site at the end – because they lose visitors as a result. To make linking to your site as painless as possible try to keep your bio file down to just a few lines. Certainly no more than 5 and I aim for just 2-3 myself. 5) No Original Content Is your article just like hundreds of others out there? Or are you producing something unique and original? If your article focuses on the same thing as your competitors – and this is often basic information like «Why You Need An Autoresponder» or «How To Do Well In The Search Engines» then STOP and think.

How can you make your article stand out from the crowd? I would suggest you consider including some of your own results and experiences – even if they’re negative. You can always say «This is what I tried, and this is what I would do next time». Your experiences are unique – they’re your own – so use them, and stand out from the crowd. 6) Too Long/Short An article should typically be 500-1000 words in length. 600-800 words is even better. Try to keep your article in those limits by ruthlessly pruning long articles (or splitting them into two or more separate articles) and expanding or ditching overly short ones. Pruning is a good thing and cuts out the «fluff». There is a world of difference bwteen a pruned and a non-pruned article and the the former always looks a lot more polished. 7) Poor Grammar And/Or Spelling Remember to run a spell checker before submitting your article, and I would suggest even then you save your article and open it up again a few days later before submitting it, as «fresh eyes» will often find mistakes you didn’t see before. And check your capital letters – for some strange reason many writers like to capitalize seemingly Random Words throughout Their article and If you’re a Busy publisher Like Me you won’t want To go through An Article and Change them All Back. You’ll just Ditch the Article And find another One instead. Get the hint?
