The Truth about Master Reseller and Private Label Rights Offers

You’ve seen the ads and websites, right? Make $10,000 a day from home. Never work again! Guaranteed Income for Life! Of course you believed every word of it right? If you did, you are not alone. Everyday countless internet marketing ‘newbies’ plop down good cash to purchase the Master Reseller Rights or Private Label Rights to some product. Unfortunately, most of that money was wasted, and very few people will actually recoup the money they spent.

Simply put, Master Reseller Rights or Private Label Rights Offers provide you a product, such as a series of eBooks or a software product. More importantly they also give you the right to re-label and or resell those products to others, including the resell rights. You buy Product A with Master Reseller Rights. Your then resell (get it?) the same product to someone else, also giving them reseller rights. They in turn resell the product and on and on…. So are Reseller Offers fake or even bad? The answer is a resounding ‘it depends.’ The ‘depends’ in this case is how the Resell product is used by the buyer. A buyer who purchases Resell products for the right reason can actually make money. A buyer who purchases the product to get rich overnight will almost certainly not get rich overnight, or at any time. How do you make money with Master Reseller and Private Label products? It takes work and planning. There are a number of approaches to using Mast Reseller and Private Label Rights products. Those approaches may be limited by the license for the products you bought. Make sure you know what is allowed for each product. For instance, can you give the product away? Can you break it into parts for reuse? Can you resell the product with your name as the author? Are you getting an editable version of the text? Look for products that allow you full flexibility to not only resell but also reuse the products.

Also, you may be limited by how others are using the product.

Can the product easily be found at other sites? Is it being sold for a price you can bear to match? How long has the product been available? Once you’ve made a purchase, you now likely have a sizeable amount of content or a software product. On the internet today, content really is a commodity. To get high search engine rankings and traffic you have to have content that people want to view. Using this content is how you can turn your investment into a profit. Consider these ways to use the content you now have: •Use the content on your own existing or new site(s). There are Reseller products for almost every niche. Use the content to build out your website and offer visits a reason to come back. For best results, consider ‘editing’ the content to make it unique and relevant to your site. •Use the content to drive traffic to your new or existing site. Assuming your license permits it, use parts of the content as articles, forum or blog postings. Again, make sure you edit the content enough to make it your own. Search engines, and web users, know when they’re looking at duplicated content. •Actually resell the products. The key here is that you have to make an additional investment of time and or money to sell the product. This involves the same marketing strategies you’d use to sell anything on the internet (or anywhere).

Create a site, likely using the sample site included with your purchase and then get traffic to it. Consider the standard SEO methods for getting traffic, but also consider paid advertising like pay-per-click. Remember, this is a ‘business’ you are trying to start. Few businesses start or run for free. •Finally, consider giving the content away. This may sound illogical, but if you have other products or services you are selling, ‘free’ content may be just the thing to get visitors to your new or existing sites. The bottom line is that Reseller and Private Label products are like anything else. If you expect them to work miracles you are going to be disappointed. But, if you consider them as part of a larger time and money investment, they can be valuable tools to your internet marketing experience. How to Find Your Target Market Online

Donna Gunter Are you fishing where the fish are? This may seem to be a question with an obvious answer, but I’m constantly amazed at how many business owners are looking for their target market in all the wrong places. Worse yet is the business owner whose target market is «everybody». Do you know how tough it is to market to everybody? The reality is that not everyone needs your product and service, nor is it a good match for every single person on this earth. The first issue to resolve is determining who comprises your target market. Are they male or female? What age group? What industry? What socio-economic group? Until you narrow your focus and select a smaller niche market, much of your marketing effort will be in vain. Once you’ve got a target market in mind, you need to know more about them. Here are the questions that I ask clients about their target market: Where do they hang out on – and off-line? What do they read? To what groups and associations (real and virtual, personal and professional) do they belong? How much money do they make? Can they easily afford your product or service? There are some great research tools available online for you to research your target market.

Here are 7 that I recommend: 1. Professional associations: American Society of Association Executives, http://www.asaenet.org, is a great place to start, as most of the executives of the reputable associations belong to this organization. To do your search, go the Gateway of Associations, currently found here: http://www.asaecenter.org/Directories/AssociationSearch.cfm?navItemNumber=16581 Once you’re in the Gateway, you can look up associations by keyword or by location. Once you’ve found the appropriate association(s), check out the association website and see if you should belong, and determine if the group has a local chapter that might meet in your area. If your initial search in this directory leads you to a local chapter, you should be able to backtrack and find the website of the national office. A second place to locate associations is Gale’s Encyclopedia of Associations. This multi-volume encyclopedia is present in the reference section of all major libraries, and due to the expense, you will probably want to pay a visit to your local library to use this resource. Some libraries subscribe to GaleNet, the online database, http://www.galenet.com and can issue you a username and password so that you can use it as well. A third option is to do an online search for «industry» (you fill in your target industry here) + «professional association». Using quotation marks will result in the best search. 2. Trade and consumer publications: Once you’ve found the appropriate association to which your target market belongs, each association will probably have a professional membership publication and/or newsletter. You might be able to subscribe to the publication without joining the association. Gebbie Press (http://www.

gebbieinc.com) publishes a media directory in which you can obtain a newspaper and trade and consumer magazine directory. Bacon’s (http://www.bacons.com) also publishes a number of media directories, including Newspaper/Magazine Directory and Radio/TV/Cable Directory, among others. As with the Gale’s Directory, you’ll probably have to pay a visit to your local library to use this resource, as it’s rather expensive to purchase. 3. Online discussion forums/lists: I’ve had a number of clients tell me that they have gotten subscribers to their newsletter and signed up clients based on their participation in online discussion lists or forums. Scott Stratten maintains a great list of good business-oriented discussion forums at http://www.un-marketing.com/index.php?p=u. Many professional associations run their own discussion lists and forums. And, there’s always the Yahoo Groups Directory, http://groups.

yahoo.

com, Google Groups, http://groups.google.com/, Forum Haven, http://forumhaven.com, and another comprehensive list at QuintCareers.com, http://www.quintcareers.com/Internet_networking_sources.html. 4. Online networking: Some virtual groups exist for the sole purpose of networking. A number of ones that are better known, like Friendster and MySpace, are primarily social in nature. The business-oriented ones often have «networks», as Ryze calls them, that bring people together centered around a common goal or interest. In many cases, you can create your own network. Scott Allen has a comprehensive listing of online networking groups http://thevirtualhandshake.com/directory.html and has co-written a great book on the subject with David Teten, The Virtual Handshake: Opening Doors and Closing Deals Online. 5. Blogs: Not only is creating your own blog a great way to market your business, but commenting on other blogs read by your target market is also a smart move. With so many blogs online, it might be tough to find the ones that are the ones read by your target market or are on a topic of interest to your target market. You can start with Google Blog Search, http://blogsearch.google.com/ , Feedster, http://www.

feedster, and a directory of blog submission sites published by Robin Goode at http://www.masternewmedia.org/rss/top55/, which will be helpful as well in your blog search. 6. Ezines: Reading (and submitting articles to) ezines read by your target market will give you a great overview of typical issues and problems faced by your target market. Here’s a listing of the most popular directories, http://ezines.nettop20.com/. 7. Income: Knowing how much money your target market makes will aid you in determining how to price your product or service. For help, consult Salary.com, http://www.salary.com where you can get pay ranges for specific geographic locations. More detailed reports are available for a fee. Doing your target market research ahead of time will save you a great deal of grief and headache. Targeting your market and marketing your plan will help you get more clients online.

How To Derive Maximum Benefit Out Of Article Submission

Article Submission one of the more popular methods of “Organic Search Engine Optimization” which helps in generating quality targeted traffic and back links to a site. Apart from this, Article Submission is a great way to let readers know more about your business and what unique services you can offer them. Article Submission can help all types of businesses, be it an Internet based Company or a florist that is looking to create additional exposure to its site through higher search engine rankings or by generating targeted traffic. It’s only after you test article submission services for yourself that you will realize that article submission is a very strong, yet cost effective way to generate enormous amounts of targeted traffic and back links! However, the key for your article submission campaign to be successful is not just creating quality, informative and creative articles, but you must also submit them to the right places in the right manner so that your desired audiences can find them. If you’re not sure how to write quality informative articles that bring out the best information about your business, you can hire a professional to do that for you.

If you can pen down a good article yourself and don’t know how to start your article submission campaign, you can use these simple article-submission steps as a guideline, and create your own article submission plan that will work best for you. Pay Attention To The Quality Of The Article For article submission to be successful, the directories and syndicates will have to approve your article first. For this, you need to make sure that your article is a genuine quality article and not a sales letter! You should avoid using any kind of promotional language. Rather your article ought to be informative and should be of some value to the reader and not just to your business! Many a times, I have come across an article where some company is telling me they will offer this and that. I wonder how can any one term those as articles but they rather look like ad campaigns to me! You can be rest assured that your article will be plainly rejected by most of the article directories and syndicates. Tip: Avoiding using any kind of promotional language in your article. The stress should be on educating the readers. Thus your aim should be value addition and not selling your product or service. Submit Your Article To The Most Appropriate Category Accompanied By The Right Keywords Choosing the right set of category plays a very important role in maximizing your exposure through article submission. Like humans, every directory is different. Thus, you need to understand the nature of each directory. Same category may represent different set of audiences for different directories.

Thus you must have a comprehensive set of categories to classify your business. The same applies for keywords. It should always be exhaustive rather then appropriate. However, you should always try and limit the number of keywords to utmost ten. Tip: For example, my site, Submit2Please.com might be appropriate for the category “Internet” in one general directory and might be appropriate for “Traffic Generation” in another. The Article Must Be Accompanied By An “Author Bio” Your Author Bio (Or About Author) can make or break the goal of your article submission campaign! Believe it or not, but your Author Bio is probably the most important part of your whole article writing and article submission campaign! You must let your readers know about yourself and that you’re the expert. Mostly all directories will allow you to put a link to your site. Take advantage of this, and always maximize your links that will give you the desired optimizing opportunities. Other General Precautions Apart from these few major precautions, you should also take note of the following trivialities for your article submission to be successful: • Do not use ALL CAPS in the title, use the Title Case.

• You should always prepare an article summary of less then 200 characters before you start article submission.

• You shouldn’t fill your article with anchor texts. I am of the opinion that anchor tests shouldn’t be used in the article. Author Bio is the right place to put links. These tips are pretty straightforward, and most of you would consider them to be common sense, but even the most experienced sometimes get off track, and may forget some of the fundamentals of article submission. Take my advice and use it as a tool to help you design your own article submission campaign.
