Tour description

1/2. Day: Dublin

Family vacation Ireland: Travel to Ireland on your own (we are happy to offer Dublin flights). Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Irish capital. Especially recommended for children is the Dublin Zoo, which not only has many exotic animals but also a small family farm. For young and old with a sweet tooth, the Butlers Chocolate Experience offers a factory tour where your family can learn more about the production of Butlers chocolate. Also worth seeing is Imaginosity, a museum specially designed for children under 9 years of age, which aims to impart knowledge through creative play. You can organize the second day according to your own ideas. For example, how about a round of mini golf at the Rainforest Adventure Golf Center, south of Dublin? 2 nights in Dublin (e.g. Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley)

Day 3: Dublin - Galway

After breakfast we continue south. Once there, you can get to know Ireland's oldest city on a sightseeing tour. Among other things, the House of Crystal, which shows the world-famous Irish crystal creations, is worth seeing. Overnight in Waterford (e.g. Waterford Marina Hotel)

Day 4: Waterford - Cork - Kerry

Today's program includes the trip towards Kerry. You can also stop in Cork en route. The Fota Wildlife Park, which is ideal for families, is particularly popular there. Then it's on to Killarney. 2 nights in Killarney (e.g. Castlerosse Hotel)

Day 5: Ring of Kerry

Today your Ireland road trip takes you to one of the most popular places in Ireland, the Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is Ireland's most famous scenic road. The beauty of this peninsula (Iveragh Peninsula, 166 km drive) consists in the great variety of contrasts between the predominant element water and its surroundings. It is also worth making a detour to the Dingle Peninsula, where you can enjoy a boat trip through Dingle Bay. Overnight as the day before.

Day 6: Kerry - Burren - Cliffs of Moher - Galway

After a hearty breakfast, continue your family vacation Ireland towards Galway. Drive through the rare and unique Burren region, then marvel at the Cliffs of Moher. The breathtaking cliffs rise from the Atlantic Ocean and extend for more than 7 kilometers. For curious children, the Aillwee Cave & Bird Center is just the thing. The Aillwee Cave show cave shows stalactites and stalagmites and explains their formation. 2 nights in Galway (e.g. Clybaun Hotel)

Day 7: Galway

If you want to get a glimpse of the underwater world of Ireland, the National Aquarium is for you. There you can marvel at a large number of different domestic and exotic fish species. Then it goes into the impressive landscape of Connemara, a large peninsula in front of the rocky bay of Galway. In the small town of Keenane you can even visit a sheep and wool center. Overnight as the day before.
